Howdy, all,

As the organization who plans the away game activities (Aggie Headquarters, Midnight Yell Practice, All-Aggie Tailgate), we wanted to put out a little behind-the-scenes info.

There are several factors that go into choosing an away Midnight Yell Practice site: Local noise ordinances; capacity to handle a crowd of several hundred or more that shows up around 11 p.m.; proximity to hotels/towns where visiting Ags may stay, to minimize late-night driving; family-friendly/kids allowed; proximity where possible to local venues for food and drink; free/low-cost parking if possible for attendees.

In planning for Clemson, we took all of those factors into consideration, which landed us in Simpsonville for Aggie Headquarters and Midnight Yell Practice. Cost was a big factor in setting up at the high school, as some of the locations mentioned in this thread were either very expensive and/or wanted us done by a certain time (well before midnight).

Oh my goodness. In the bleachers at some middle school. That compares to the pep band introduction incident at Easterwood when Jimbo initially landed. Sometimes I cannot figure out or logic. Ughhhh
