What non-A&M games does anyone plan on attending this season? Who are you rooting for and why?

I've been invited to two Penn State games/tailgates this year and have already been invited to their future trip to Blacksburg. Lane Stadium is on my bucket list, so I can't wait for that one.

Anybody ever go to UF-UGA for the hell of it?

As much as I love college football, I have only been to a handful of stadiums.

Seen Games at:
Kyle Field
Alamodome (vs Army)
Oklahoma Memorial
Georgia Dome (vs Duke)
Bank of America Stadium (vs Wake Forest)
Williams-Brice Stadium
Beaver Stadium (Penn State upset of #2 Ohio State)

Visited:
Neyland Stadium
Lane Stadium
Bobby Dodd Stadium (Georgia Tech)
SHI Stadium (Rutgers)

Wanted to go to Clemson this year but I'll be at Disney World with my son. Not missing UGA in Athens though, and also hoping to finally make it to Arlington for Bacon & Ags.

I'm going to UH vs Washington State.... just because it'll be a fun match up with Leach vs Holgerson

Not really rooting for either team, just hoping for a 63-56 type game

If it wasn't for drill (Army Reserve) , I'd be at that Michigan-Penn State game too.

I actually just remembered the first Penn State game I went to was against Nebraska. I was dating a PSU grad at the time and still harbored some anti-corn feelings from our days in the Big 12. In 2006, I was a fish in the Corps, standing by the endzone to celebrate our hopefully imminent victory against NU. And they scored on that side to beat us by 1...after we had just lost to OU by 1 the previous week with College Gameday in town. Bye-bye Big 12 championship berth

I'll be attending most of the Kilgore College games this fall. My daughter is a new Rangerette 80th line member so I'll be there to see her mostly. I have never been to a JC game so that will be interesting. I don't expect high end ball playing, but figure there will be a few standout players at some point in the season.

Going to the Minnesota/Wisconsin game for Paul Bunyan's Axe in Minneapolis with the Gopher wife. Game ends just in time for us to get back to the VRBO to watch the LSU game.

Any chance La Tech pulls that one off?

La Tech has always been tough. Underdogs. It's possible.
Where they playing? Home team wins.

Living in the DC area, I usually try to catch a game in Blacksburg if I can. They have a great gameday experience, especially when "Enter Sandman" starts up.

Will probably try to go to Mich-Maryland as well if I can snag a cheaper ticket.

Between Clemson and UGA my cfb travel budget is blown this year. However future A&M games I would like to see:

A&M at Miami (this one is coming up)
A&M at Peen State ( I really want to see how their noise compares to Kyle)
Every SEC West Stadium (although Miss schools aren't high on the list)
A&M at Florida

Non A&M games:

OSU & Michigan at the Shoe
The Iron Bowl (at either stadium)
UGA & Florida
Florida & FSU (at Tallahassee, but FSU has to improve - prob will be after the Taggert era)

A USC game just for the purpose of attending one in the Coliseum would be nice - same with the Rose Bowl. I almost went in 2017 but so glad I didn't make that trip. But these are way down the list because PAC 12 just doesn't have the same energy behind it.

Of course, none of this takes into consideration the SECC, playoff and championship games that Jimbo will have us fighting for - which could severely impact my timeline.

My CFB budget is non-existent this year as I'm blowing all the relevant part of the budget on Disney World. I expect to be checking in on the goings-on from between the hedges while waiting in all those lines.

The A&M games I want to attend in coming seasons would be against UGA at Kyle, Miami, South Carolina, and take road trips to Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida, Ole Piss, and LSU.

I have already been to Starkville back in 2012; I have no desire to ever go there again. I wouldn't mind a trip to Jerryworld against the Pig People but just not a fan of what ole Jerry charges for entrance to his stadium.

The wife entered a contest when we went to a Skeeters game and somehow won tickets to Rice against Southern Miss I think, so I will get to go to a game this season not involving the Ags.

I have been to games on the road against State, OU, Rice, Cougar High, and SMU.

I have visited the stadiums at Tennessee, Alabama, Clemson, and Georgia.

I moved out west 5 years ago and made it my goal to visit every stadium west of the Rockies before moving back. This year I'm planning to go to games at Fresno State, San Jose State, Utah, and Utah State. So far my total is 27 unique stadiums in my lifetime.

I will be attending all of the ETBU games (E. Tx Baptist University). My son is a freshman tight end there. Our high school didnt have football (I know...right?) so he played basketball so he hasnt played football since 6th grade. Hes 6'5", 250#, so hopefully it will be a good year for the Tigers. First game in Wiaconsin! Only get to go to 3 Aggie games this year: Tx State, Lamar, and Bama.

Moving to Nashville.

Which means I get to go to Vandy games cheap and watch someone else beat their ass.

I'm looking forward to scouting:
- Georgia
- South Carolina
- LSU

They play all three early and we play all three late.
