Good catch. Was going off last year's rotation. Meant the Big XII v SEC matchup.

We have a tough schedule and I think we have a good team but the difference between going 10-2 to 8-4 is probably very small, either way. Additionally, the difference between 11-1 and 7-5 could be the same. You just never know how things will play out. As long as we are well coached, have a good game plan, and the kids are giving their all, I can enjoy Aggie football. So I am just going to enjoy the season, whatever the result winds up being.

If this secondary is better than any of the groups from '95-'04, I would be pleasantly surprised (much less the best since the early 90's).

Slight adjustment in mechanics is what he needs and I can only guess that has been a focus point in the offseason.

I just want us to play mean, nasty, aggressive, and very physical football at every position. I want to see us come out and bust the bully in the mouth the entire game every game.

How we respond the following weeks will dictate the rest of the season.

We will play keep away against Clemson. Their offense will be better but certainly their pass rush and run defense will be worse. Time of possession win and we hang with a chance at the end. Should be a great college football game. Win? We shall see.

Unless mond is a top 5 -10 pick which is possible I think he comes back to play for a Natty. Plus next year's and class is pretty loaded

I too think they'll win some games.

The only thing I want to see this season is Rogers be Mike Evans on steroids and make Mond look like a Golden God inside the 20. Dude has freak potential. If I was Mond I'd be throwing it up to that guy one on one all season.

My prediction this season is that we will beat Georgia in Athens.

Mond absolutely must stay healthy. Style of play will help w/that, O-line will not.

After what the sips did to them last year, losing to Georgia should be seen as an embarrassment by this program. They lost their place of respect among Bama and LSU.

I like Mond a lot but In the Heisman conversation and leaving early for the NFL seems like a very low probability.

Hines probably plays alright but its hard to think he is going to be a superstar when he hasn't played much in 2 years

Chapman will not be featured, he will get into games and make a few good catches. He is way behind a LOT of good receivers. If he finishes as our 2nd best receiver, then a lot of receivers must have got hurt.

Could be a good secondary, hope so.

Mond will put up huge stats even though I just don't think he is that good. I can also see him leaving early. Nothing left to prove after 3 years as a starter.

9-4 is about right, with our schedule that would be a very impressive record.


Some of my predictions...

Madibuike will be our best player by far. Bobby Brown will hold the LOS and Madibuike will run crazy.

RBs as a group will be better than last year. We will be a GOOD running team.

Quartney Davis will be our best offensive player

probably 8-4 this year. Even if manage to beat one of the big 4 we will lose some game we shouldn't to one of the Mississippi schools.

We were a top 5 rushing team last year. We don't have the talent let alone much room at all to be any better than last year.

Hmm.. I disagree. If A&M's secondary is just half better than they were last year, they will give them fits. Clemson can be beat. They have to play flawless football and so does A&M. I think it comes down to turnovers.

OP - interested to see who ends up at CB. Myles Jones was the only one who seemed to show the ability to make a play on the ball last year. 6'4" and can run. He and Blades seem like they would make a good combo with Renfro possibly playing the nickel.

Renfro impressed me against the run, a little more physical but you could be exactly right and blades takes his spot and Chattam at 6-5 is going to be in the mix. I think he will get a 6th year if he wants it.
