One of their twin daughters died yesterday. I'm not sure of their age but when I met them in 2017 they were in diapers.

Just heartbreaking

Ive heard two different things. Drowning or carbon monoxide poisoning. I just can't imagine going through the loss of a young child. It's been on my mind every since I was told

I disagree - I doubt Ty will be surfing here and see the comment - it's a great idea for anyone with little children who are gonna be around water.

Near drowning experience at a party I attended a few weeks back. My wife and I walk out the door to the backyard, and she drops her plate and books it to the pool (she used to be a life guard). Parents were standing outside pool within 5 feet of the child. Can't take your eyes off little ones.

Last year we had a friend of my sons lose his little sister to drowning. Many of you here know who it is. This happens to the best of families as you already know from the Warren's. My kids took swim lessons, I tried to give them all the help I could to make them safe, and I still had a few close calls. All of them in swimming pools. We have a lake house and swim regularly off the dock. It is my biggest fear. My young son has a flat bottom boat and loves to fish and I am trying to give him the skills to survive bad accidents. Work with those kids and then work with them some more. This is heart wrenching news and we all need to watch those kids, ours or not. Prayers to the Warren family and those who have lost a child.

Awful.....that's my worst nightmare. We have a pool and have it gated off, but I am constantly drilling into my son that he is not allowed anywhere near the pool without his turtle (lifejacket) on.

There was a story tonight on the Houston local news with one of the local sheriffs talking about recent pool drownings. Happens more often than you want to think about.
