Depends on if I should have won. If my 9 yr old basketball team played the Warriors, I wouldn't give two ****s about losing, and would be on top of the world if we won.

If my 9 yr is playing the Warriors I am more worried about safety than wins vs. losses. Draymond is going for the nut shot cause that's what he does. Do you really think Green is concerned with the safety of the next generation?

I am happier when we win.

If you look at individual sports, there really is only one winner every year. So the odds, no matter how talented your team is, are not in your favor. Ultimate losing is coming your way 99% of the time.

So I revel in the wins.

I still haven't come down out of the clouds from the A&M 7 OT victory over LSU that I attended at Kyle Field.

and a national football championship trophy coming the Aggies' way, compliments of Coach Fisher & Co., will be very sweet indeed.

Too me, people usually forget the wins, it is the losses that they remember.

Auburn's win last year still bugs me.

And who can forget 77-0, on national TV, with Stoops being "merciful".

Done both, hate losing, winning is meh.

This post made me mad. Then it made me sad. Then I decided I am who I am.

This is close to my attitude in my professional life. There can definitely be practices to observe and repeat from project/product wins. But, best to focus on project/product failures/pains in order to hopefully turn them into wins.

I like winning.

I freaking hate losing.

Fear of losing is not a good motivator. No where nearly as good as a desire to win.

"not losing" is not identical to "winning".

I probably would have said I hate losing more than I like winning before the Astros won the World Series, there was nothing like that feeling watching one of my favorite teams finally win a championship. I just haven't been able to experience it often...

I believe studies have found negative emotions have a stronger impact on a person than the equivalent positive emotion. So you're definitely not the only one.

Just depends on the game. I would say that the very highest highs outweigh the lowest lows, but the general lows are much heavier than the general highs if that makes sense.

In other words last year the excitement of the LSU game outweighs the lowest lows of the season, but each of the 4 losses were more painful than the all the other wins were satisfying.
