Can't believe y'all haven't been through enough recruiting drama by now to think anything other than "wake me up when he signs"

Was it Cameros or Mustang GTs that the tu signees were posing in front of?
This is my opinion as well. Based on Turner's track record, and us in the SEC he's gonna make a bad business decision if he sticks. JMOCoryhub said:
Has been tu commit for long time. He just likes the attention and taking other visits as well. I don't think he flips for us..

Wouldn't doubt at all if he flips to the good guys. And a 6' 6" 330 lb tackle should always be welcome in any class.

I dunno. I've gone back and forth on this Shepherd kid.levypantsEOY said:technoviking said:

Not if it's 330 pounds of what-about-me drama. Lotta red flags on this one.
If all would just ignore twitter, Insta, and FB....drama would not exist! How pleasant would that be....Tamu_mgm said:I dunno. I've gone back and forth on this Shepherd kid.levypantsEOY said:technoviking said:

Look at Leon O'Neal as a comparison in last year's class. Once he decommitted from us when Sumlin was fired, his recruiting shot through the roof, and lasted all the way until signing day (or a few days before). The top programs aggressively went after him because they wanted him badly - Bama, Georgia, Clemson, and OU. This was all DESPITE the fact that O'Neal made a lot of drama about his recruitment during this time. There were many on here claiming we shouldn't take him because of all the drama. However, the kid actually has a solid head on his shoulders and is extremely talented, which showed up in the bowl game in a very obvious way. He's got a bright future, mainly because despite the drama, he seems like a very self-motivated young man.
Javonne could be similar to Leon in this way. He's having a hard time making up his mind between A&M and texas, but he's doing what he views is ultimately best for himself. Who can blame him? He's got an enormous frame to work with and a lot of talent as well, so if we end up getting him I think it would be worth the drama.
lol would you care to explain this one?levypantsEOY said:technoviking said:

Yeah, they were worse than the ones pushing Georgia around.FriscoKid said:younicos said:
Fake news. They redshirted 4 OL this year.

Sure thing. He committed to the sips, but not really, took several other visits (with more planned), calls every visit "eye opening," writes contestant cryptic tweets of how he wants to "get paid," nothing about school/ academic, etc., and seems to be genuinely enjoying the attention/ drama of where he will sign.
I'm just saying, there is a lot of smoke here.
he's the trainer for a lot of football players coming up in texas, i believe specifically the houston area. he's a mentor type for a lot of these kids so access to the kids sometimes goes through himashley said:
Who or what is this Footwork King?
it depends on who the kid leans on most. kids lean on their parents/family sometimes, some on their coach, some on their friends/teammates and some on their trainers. footwork king i think is pretty unique and not common. if i remember right, he helped train brandon williams convert from RB to CB.ashley said:
Sorry. Do high school players go through him rather than their high school coach. ?
If so, it's a new world to me.
Great answer technoviking. I would add that he's that + more. I don't want to characterize it as charity work, but for the vast majority of these high school and college kids, he does it pro bono b/c they. Great dude. Takes a lot of heat from Aggies for being a 'sip homer and takes even more heat from those damn folks in Austin for being an Aggie homer. He's like Switzerland but with drama from many sides.technoviking said:he's the trainer for a lot of football players coming up in texas, i believe specifically the houston area. he's a mentor type for a lot of these kids so access to the kids sometimes goes through himashley said:

FIFY
We're going after Shep because Jimbo wants him to play in maroon; he doesn't need Shep to land a player of Dumas' caliber.
