When I started at A&M at the age of 23, it seemed to me that almost everyone aged 18 and 19 was extremely ignorant, lacked any job history, work ethic, or life perspective, and should have waited a few years to figure out what they wanted to do before spending thousands on an education they might regret, which occurred often with people I met.
Most grow out of it over time, but some never do.
