My (way too early and lofty) predictions:
Texas St: we open the year in the top 10 and put the world on notice that we aren't here to **** around, blow their doors off. O scores 70+ and the Defense led by Leon and Tyrel dominate.
Clemson: This is where the season gets interesting, we had them on the ropes last year and they know it, so they'll be prepared for this one. However if I'm not mistaken they lose some major contributors on both offense and defense and I think we come in looking to let CFB know A&M has arrived. I think we start fast and control the game throughout. Offense led by Kellen and Co. put up 31-34 and the D gives up 17-21, with one of their scores coming in trash time.
Lamar: We come into the game ranked in the top 4 and Jimbo has the team ready to play, another 60+ showing from the offense and Kellen throws for 300 with 3 tugs. The D begins to hear chants of "Wrecking Crew" they pitch a shutout. Corbin and Jackson have 100+ each and combine for 3 scores. Foster starts the second half and throws for 150.
Auburn: First time we've played Auburn so early since Trevor Knight was QB, they'll come in ranked in the top 20 but Jimbo gets revenge for what should have been a win last year, close at half-time but our physicality and athleticism show and we dominate the second half and "stomp on them while their down". O scores 40's and we run for 250 on them, Kellen throws for 200 and the defense holds them to in the 20's.
Arkansas: We won't let this game be so close the second time around, I think Aggie chad has a better team next season but at this point A&M is a freight train, we roll past them and the Hogs realize they won't beat us for a long time. 38-10 kind of performance.
Alabama: We come into the game ranked #2 or #3, gameday comes to CS and Kyle is 110000+ we come out of the gates hot and lead at half time in a low scoring game, Bama sustains the punch and takes the lead to end the 3rd, Jimbo and Saban duel to the end but the ags fall short by 3 points, Saban walks away knowing A&M will be the game he wishes he didn't have to play every year. We dominate physically but in the end their speed on offense wins them the game. 27-24 kind of game.
Ole Miss: we come in pissed off we didn't beat Bama and take it out on what I think will be a worse Ole Miss team than last year. Kellen shows off and surpasses 300 passing and Corbin and Jackson dominate. 42-7 type of blowout.
Miss St: Last year's loss leaves a bad taste in Jimbo's mouth and we come out of the gate with some fire. Moorhead is an idiot and inexperience was the sole reason we lost last year, their offense looks inept and their defense gets exposed. 50+ type of game for the offense and Kellen doesn't need to do anything except hand the ball off, he'll surpass 200 yards in the air though. Defense sees Leal have a coming out party and we hold them to single digits.
UTSA: on paper this game is a total mismatch and I believe thats how it will play out. We run for 400+ yards on them and the D has another solid outing. We cruise through this game 45ish-14ish.
South Carolina: Muschamp just isn't a good coach, and he won't have home field advantage, ags embarrass coach boom and send him running for the hills. they won't have a good season and this game will add insult to injury, 42-14. Defense solidifies itself as one of the best in CFB and the offense has a boring day rushing for 300+ and throwing for 250+. We showcase running back depth in this game and Spiller or Prince make some major plays.
Georgia: Tough way to end the year at Georgia and LSU. I think we see the effects of Schmitty more next season and we match Georgia physically. In the end their stellar recruiting classes come through for them and they out-depth us in the 4th quarter and put the game away with a field goal, 17-20 kind of game, both defenses look stellar, we run for 150ish and pass for 200ish. Defense shows its youth in the back end and their awesome receivers make some plays.
LSU: this one is a rivalry game no matter who you ask in either school, it shows and Death Valley is rocking for a night game and eager to return the favor of last season. ags come out ready too though, and the maturity of Mond finally bears fruit, we control the game (although it will be close) and win in a low scoring battle 24-14 ish, with one of our scores coming midway through the 4th and then Mond engineering the game killing drive our next possession.
Overall 10-2 (6-2 SEC): probably end the year ranked #6-#7 and earn a bid for the fiesta bowl or the sugar bowl, I think we end up playing the Sips or Michigan (boat racing whoever we play.)
More expectations:
1. Treyveon leaves but Jashaun Corbin and Vernon Jackson establish themselves as a deadly 2 headed monster with either Prince or Spiller making contributions during the season and turning into a 3rd down back/ receiving threat.
2. Mond throws for 3500 yards during the season and rushes for 12 scores, 2nd team all SEC with foster contributing valuable backup time.
3. Dylan Wright starts after 4 games and turns into a faster version Kendrick Rodgers (he's too talented), meanwhile Q and Jalen Preston put up massive numbers and all SEC kind of seasons.
4. Leon O'neal becomes the teams leader along with Kellen and Tyrel, He earns all American honors.
5. Leal and Green start on both lines, Both are just too talented to leave on the bench, Brian Williams and Demani Richardson split time at FS. The 2019 class cements itself with valuable backups and talented starters.
6. Baylor Cupp wins the starting TE job and although there will be a drop off in production, he shows flashes of brilliance and the receiving corps picks up the slack.
7. We go into the 2020 season ranked in the top 4 whole world gets put on notice that Jimbo has awakened the sleeping monster in Aggieland and Kellen Mond goes into the season as a dark horse Heisman candidate.
