Presumably the individual donors could write off the donation to their taxes since it is going to the 12th Man Foundation, but that's just how tax code works; I am not sure it would be considered a "scheme". (Jokes about taxes in general being a "scheme" aside.)

It's not. The "tax write-off" is dumb comment and made by someone that doesn't make enough money to understand what he is talking about or he doesn't pay any attention to the taxes he pays.

Say you donate $100 to a charity and you are in the 28% tax bracket.

At the end of the year you get to subtract $100 from your income and saved $28 in taxes. Your donation is still $100. But, you are out a net of $72 and it's not like you made money off of the deal or even came close to breaking even.

Can someone create a Go Fund Me page to enhance the level of quality food/service we get from Levy? I know we chose the low quality food/service option from Levy. Maybe with a little money we can get it bumped up to a medium???

I think its more of just a donation to bonfire. Bonfire isn't completely free.

I will donate $0.02 for the 2 more seconds that should have been on the clock at the end of the game. $0.01 for the 1 second that was put back on the clock at the end of the game, and $0.07 for the 7 overtimes.

and replaced it with a soggy croissant thing that had some pepperoni like substance in the middle. The first game my son and I bought 6 because we were jonesing for the Double Dave's pepperoni rolls and we ate 4 and threw the others away.

Struck me as odd to that they got rid of the Double Dave's rolls but kept Double Dave's name on the drink cups.

2-days into the campaign we're at $6,700 towards our $50,000 fine goal. The donation can be fully written off, so if you know anybody looking for those year-end tax donations please have them look into our GoFundMe. Would love to see us get to $50k and show everybody what the Aggie Network is.
