I REALLY hope this is where Mond turns the corner. His arm talent can not be questioned. The ball explodes out of his hand. He made Two or three throws today that not many college quarterbacks can make. I think that's what frustrates me to no end with this kid. He makes two or three BIG time plays and then goes brain dead, almost like he doesn't trust himself. Having Ausbon back made a HUGE difference. Mond was way more comfortable throwing to him. I will take a win at this point! Gig Em!

I did like the mental toughness he showed. I thought he had made the mistake that might lose us the game, but he bounced back well after that.

He had 4 total touchdowns. Everyone on here was talking about how our defense made Nick Fitzgerald look like a Heisman candidate when he had 4 total touchdowns, but when Mond did it he didn't play well? Double standards.
Any man who can hitch the length and breadth of the galaxy, rough it, slum it, struggle against terrible odds, win through, and still know where his towel is, is clearly a man to be reckoned with.

Yeah, never mind the fact that the defense we played against today is light years worse than last week.

He still made some better passes regardless of who he was playing.

He did some good things, but the 96 yd fumble scoop and score can't happen. Things like that lose games. He has done that twice in critical moments of games. He also gave auburn 7 pts on that horrible pitch.

If he was great at throwing downfield You might accept the mistakes, but defenses don't need to defend a downfield passing attack (or even intermediate for that matter)

LOL...Southern IL QB (FCS school) passed for 386 yards and 4 TDs against the Ole Miss Defense.

Made one really BIG mistake and a late throw that was intercepted. Other than that, he played pretty good.

The guy also threw it 47 times that game and had two interceptions.

Bad decisions
Poor ball security...again
Late throws again
Bad at reading defenses
Poor game manager
High ball thrower

Game won on partly on defense and mostly on Treyveon.

Mond had a half to a dozen good solid D1 throws. Other than that, would he start at Vandy yeah probably and that's it.

What other SEC schools Kentucky maybe, maybe LSU that's it. Big Dumpster fire kansas or TCU. ACC not even Duke, or UVa maybe VT only cause there starter is hurt, not sure he could even beat out current second string starter.

He didn't make any throws that where that special it is just that he is usually so bad they looked amazing

Tanny and Manziel ripped the ball 10x better than Mond

I won't be buying anything from this sponsor

You're going to tell me his passes weren't more accurate today than last week? Good grief man he couldn't hit sheet last week. He made at least half a dozen good passes today. The only thing THE ONLY THING he completed last week were soft screen passes.

I'm all about dogging on bad play, but you aren't very bright if you think he wasn't a little better today.

Some were talking about how much better Mond looked today and seem to ignore the competition.

Do you realize the S IL Qb has been pretty bad all season except for against Ole Miss? 5 TD 6 int. against other competition But against Ole Miss looked pretty darn good.

So you are happy that Mond did a little worse than S IL Qb???

He was better this week because the competition was worse. The things that made him bad the last couple of weeks were still there today.

Mond had a polarizing game. He continued his turnover streak in the redzone again this week in disastrous fashion with that fumble six. Then, two passes later he was an intercepted. After that, he went 5 of 7 passing with two TDs.

On the game he went 19/28, 68%, 236 yards, 3 TD, 1 Int with 19 yards rushing on 8 carries and another TD.

It was against one of the worst defenses in the SEC. A lot of his passes were high. He had happy feet. Yet some of his passes were spot on.

Yet, despite the disastrous couple of plays in a row, he helped lead the team to what felt like a loss but was really a 14 point win.

Really weird game.

He played against a horrible team. Quit making it sound like he's all of a sudden good. I could've doubled his output against Ole Miss.

Maybe you should think about what you just said. I just compared two similar things and noted how some people see those as completely different. Four touchdowns to four touchdowns. Per TexAgs "Heisman candidate performance stats" and "He's trash stats". You can't have it both ways. Either Nick Fitzgerald had completely trash stats or Mond had good stats this game.

A turd in the middle of the field would have been better than last week.

When did I ever say he was worse than last week?

How long do you want to ignore this user?
Mond would start at Vandy, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee, LSU, Arkansas, & South Carolina.

He threw for 68% today with 3 TD's thru the air and 1 on the ground.

He had a horrific fumble and a bad read on the pick.

His td to Buckley was not a "solid college throw." He threw it from the 30 and across the hash. That's like 55 yards in the air and was delivered right in the window.

His pass over the top to Davis had perfect touch and was something I hadn't seen much of from him this year.

He could have folded like the cheap tent many on this board are after his pick but he and the team went and decided to go win and cover the spread anyway.

Funny how hard some on here work to discredit everything he does and call it average or give others credit then he throws one pass high and those same act like no other qb in America makes bad throws.

Also funny how the people who know football see his play so differently than the board experts.
