On a punt return somehow two players with the same number (9) were on the field at the same time. Originally, it was nearly a turnover because the punt returner dropped the ball. Fortunately we recovered the ball. Then the refs threw a flag for illegal procedure for the two players, so they punted again. On the second punt their punter got off a booming punt that cost us 20 yards in field position.

They were - they both were right there at the spot of the tackle.

And why would you take a 2 year old to a Stars game? Those tickets are expensive - you could take a 2 year old to the mall and he'd enjoy it just as much. Not like he's gonna remember it.

For some reason Hezekiah Jones and Leon O'Neal thought they were supposed to be on the punt team for that play.

I have read that when any two A&M players have the same number, one of them has to be on the defensive side and the other one has to be on the offensive side so that they never would be on the field at the same time.

Guess someone screwed up with the numbering protocols.
