UCLA was way worse. This one is bad though. I hope Jimbo is tearing buttholes apart in the locker room. He better be tossing the water cooler and punting kids helmets.

I would rather him simply make personnel changes, starting at QB.

This. Literally any other QB we have should have played the entire 3rd quarter. I dont get this Mond devotion

I knew we'd get rid of Sumlin thanks to UCLA so wasn't as mad about that. We are stuck with Fisher and his terrible playcalling.

We will not lose, everyone relax.

Still sucks we let them make it close. We should have put it away by now. This team is not good.

We lost today for the same reason we lost the UCLA game. It was a carbon copy. You are gashing them with the run all day and then totally abandon the run... Then in critical situations where it's time to salt the game away, you have at least two 3rd downs where you throw the ball instead of running the ball and keep the clock moving.

Two different coaching staffs with the same hubris... End result is the same.

#2 would be 2002 Tech game. Up by 21 points in the 2nd half, lost game in OT due to a missed XP

it finally hit me...today's game was a carbon copy of the 1989 loss in Lubbock.

A&M led 24-14 midway thru the 4th quarter...the defense had played well up to that point...then Tech started hitting some deep passes and dump offs to James Gray...the conservative aggie running game got stuffed...and Tech won 27-24.

that was a bitter defeat. Similar to this one

Leading against Arkansas 35-17 at half
Leading 28-17 against Missouri at half

I may be confusing my games but weren't there a bunch of people posting "stunned Poke" pics during the first half of that 2011 game?

Good times...

Are you ****ting me? The last game ever against t.u. might have a little something to say about that.

Today was classic Aggies but not even in the top 10 of all time. How long have you been watching this program?

and you know from the standpoint of Mond's aggie legacy...

yeesh, he has today's game to go along with the UCLA collapse.

he's going to give Tannehill a run for his money (and not in a good way) before he's done

I'm pretty sure we had 10+ point leads in all but one of our losses in 2011. That was the season that broke my spirit.

Was that year the OK State game with Tannehill? That game did it for me.

Actually I think we **** the bed in consecutive years against OK state when we should have won.

UCLA was clearly the worst. We all know what happened in that one. At Tulsa in '91 was 2nd. I recall that Bucky Richardson was injured in the LSU game the previous week, and replaced by Jeff Granger, who also was a pitcher on our baseball team. Anyway, we were ranked #15 at the time. Up 21-3 and then 28-10. Let Tulsa score 19 points in under 3 minutes in the 3rd quarter, which immediately caused horrible heartburn after a hotdog at half-time. They went on to win 35-34. Dubbed the "miracle on 11th street". Ironically, it was our only loss in the regular season.

Good thing we learned from that mistake and didn't try the same personnel. Oh wait...
