Mond has proven he can't play. We know Starkel can't play. Why not play the fish qb..Foster. We have nothing to lose this year and we can play him 3 games without losing any eligibility. We can then focus on getting the Clemson qb to transfer to the good guys for next year. With some great defensive backs coming and a proven qb we will be set.

Y'all do remember we were only picked middle of the road this year. We were never picked to win the west or anything big. I'm disappointed to but he's barely into his first season you guys need to chill the hell out.
You do realize it was coaching in the 4th quarter that lost this game right? It wasn't the players.
I do, but to act fatalistic in think that our next seven years are going to be **** is just ridiculous.
Even the vaunted Nick Saban had a 6- 6 first year at Alabama even losing to a small Louisiana team. Dude, it it happens, good coaches do make mistakes and have losing seasons.
In all fairness when I was younger I used to get more upset about it and more tempered now because I'm older, so I get the fatalistic jump off the ledge attitude of some of the people on here but after decades of Aggie football you do adapt more.
It doesn't mean you except it and like losing but I would just ask you guys to look a little bit at the big picture long term. There's some problems they are going to have to work out but again we were never picked to do a whole hell of a lot this year I think some people just got ahead of themselves. Just my two cents. Flame away if you want. Don't really give a *****
But people calling our players dumbasses, hoping they get hurt, saying theyll never watch a football game again, that's just bull*****
We poured a lot of money into a program and we should be doing better than this, but if it upsets people that much then maybe they shouldn't be watching and they shouldn't be coming to the games. We don't need them, so I say make good on your threats. More tickets for those who do want to come and support our Aggies. Who are college kids I might remind people.
It's not about excepting mediocrity which a lot of them like to pan off when they're challenged. It's about perspective.

Anyone saying Starkel has any kind of shot this year is delusional. Everyone WAS shocked when Mond was named starter because of the way they both performed last year.

No, experience makes you better and quicker at decision making. That's why so many organizations have their people situationally train and why teams practice. Given time and (good) practice, he will get better.
What we need and haven't had for a long time is consistency. It will hurt, but it will be better in the long run. As it is, we've been bouncing around from one stock to the next looking for quick returns instead of holding one for the long run. That will lost you money far more often than it will make you money.
Mond has started many games, more than enough to evaluate, and his development and rate of improvement are wildly inconsistent.
There are some QB qualities that are innate and cannot be significantly developed. Mond lacks field vision/awareness and it will not get better. Last year Starkle demonstrated a good level of field vision. He does have the problem of 1 out of 10 passes being wtf but this can be improved with game experience. What concerns me is that Jimbo can't see that his horse is failing and he needs to change. This isn't just one bad game, our wins were due to other factors
Mond did play well against Clemson but that is the exception to his body of work.

I use to get upset while watching Aggie football. Over the past thirty years I have gotten older and when we were up by 10 I was still sure we would find a way to lose. I was right. I have seen it happen to often. It is really inexcusable with our resources that we still put a product like that on the field.
One more real chance to get bowl eligible!
