Billy also told us how bad of a QB Fitzgerald is. After these predictions, I actually feel better about our chances now.

At least they are being honest. They know that MSSST exposed us last week. Throw deep constantly. We can't defend it and don't have the athletes in the secondary to fix it this year.

Guys like BL got started in this business because they pioneered calling recruits back in the day and asking them questions about where they were going to commit? Thinking because of this they magically have in depth analysis skills about the game of college football is borderline silly. It's truly like assuming the hospital foyer greeter knows how to perform heart surgery.

Ask BL where recruits are leaning. Beyond that you are on your own.

In Billy's defense, Fitzgerald is a bad QB. Just not as bad as our defensive backs.

If you can't tell the difference in coaching of this team and our future projection, you're hopeless. It's posters like you that are ridiculous. Do you think a new coach can come in and fix everything? He's clearly made our run defense better and our overall philosophy/style of play/attitude more conducive to long term results. But you want a quick fix where everything falls in place in year 1? That's unrealistic.

Also, in case you haven't realized, Jimbo is already beating out LSU, Auburn, and even Bama for tons of recruits in this recruiting class. I expect that to continue in the future. Why on earth would any Ag be giving up now? What an absurd and flat out dumb thing to do.

Looking back I can see why that was taken the wrong way. I typed too fast and didn't properly communicate what I was intending there. I meant to convey that b/c a guy makes a living by providing insider scoop about the program, it doesn't mean he has a crystal ball and can magically predict whether or not Fitzgerald is going to have a career night throwing a bunch of 50/50 balls and his WR's winning all the battles.

Fitzgerald was 0 TD and 6 INT going into last weekend. BL watches all the same games we watch. With that hard data in place were there really any questions about Fitzgerald?

1. How could anyone not already know Fitz is a poor passing QB?

2. How could anyone have predicted him having passing success?

Anybody that's wanted to exploit our corners midrange to deep has done so with ease. Why more teams haven't done it more often is a mystery to me. They keep trying to run on us and failing. Which I understand you have to TRY to establish a run game......but we have a glaring Achilles heel back there and we're heading into a stretch of QB's who can absolutely exploit that. Erick Young, Scooby Carter et al can't get here fast enough

I put 10,000 fake dollars on the Ags to lose in the pick off. It's at Jordan-Hare, they're coming off a by-week, and Gus needs to win badly. Add to that another struggling quarterback we'll make look like a heisman contender and you have another Aggie loss.
