I find it interesting when comments are made that this is the game to see if this coach is different or the same. A no, Everything Jimbo has done since being named head coach is different. I hope we win Saturday, but if we don't we don't. Doesn't mean we are not on the right path.

Everyone thought we would be 5-2 at this point? Really, maybe, however that's based on preseason ideas of teams. We are Kentuckys only loss so far. Did also think that would be the case.

Guys enjoy the journey. We have a great coach that is going to have us in the big picture very soon.

I personally think we would be at best 4-3 right now if Sumlin was coach. Would have lost the Kentucky game, along with Bama and Clemson. UK was a much tougher opponent than pre-season expectations, and that was exactly the kind of game that Sumlin teams teams almost always lost at home. UK would have throttled Sumlin's offense and our defense would not have played nearly as well against the run under the previous coaching staff.

So IMO the records have already diverged and we are at least +1 already at 7 games in under Jimbo than Sumlin.

You guys think whatever you want. For me personally we win this game and this season takes a 2012 turn. If we lose it doesn't mean we are back to the Sumlin days. I agree that this team is already night and day different. Look no further than TOP and defensive snaps stats.

I agree with that assessment completely. We'd have gotten pummeled by Clemson and lost to UK under Sumlin.
