I actually love when Texas is "back". Gets everyone all excited again before their inevitable breakdown that puts them right back in the mediocrity they started the season in. Really makes the meltdown enjoyable.

The fact that we're trying to "win" the state is what has held us back for years. Our measuring stick should be the Top 5 teams every year.

None of those exist in this state.

I actually understand the attention they are receiving and it doesn't bother me a bit. The Big 12 needs a brand name to survive. Now that OU has been exposed by Army and at the Cotton Bowl, the writers that support the Big 12 are looking for a savior. West Virginny is a better team but isn't a blue blood so it's up to tu to carry the banner. After the Baylor performance, WV and tceh will be tough outs for the horns.
