Those rankings are clearly slanted with an blaze orange tint. Head to head, Georgia would smoke tu. Meatchickin at 6 and blow u at 9 WV staying at 13 and KY ahead of the Ags is laughable.

This is why we need an 8 team playoff. So that sip could get exposed (as well as the bdf) as the weak team that they are.

I propose that sip would lose on a neutral field against 18 of the final 25 in the AP poll. They would get boat raced against the top ten.

So would ANY bdf team. Sip isn't even the best team in that **** conference.

Even with that schedule the horns horns will go 3-2 or 4-1 the rest of the way. If they finish with 2-3 losses they will be a solid lower half of the top 25 team which is about right. Aggies may be in about the same place. How we do on the road at Miss St will tell us a lot about how good the Aggies are. If we beat Miss St then it's easy to imagine us riding on a 7 game win streak heading into the LSU game and man will that be a great game. If we lose then there will be a lot of this is the same old Aggies people coming out of the woodwork.

Indeed. The committee will have their work cut out for them, weighing these different resumes. With both Okie Lite and WVU losing yesterday takes a bit of shine off of those upcoming games for the horns. Not quite the quality win they might have been otherwise (assuming the sippies win both).

You might want to pay attention, but Arkansas isnt the same team now that lost to UNT. They can score, hell they put up 30 something on Alabama.

Their weakness is defense, that is what cost them last night against Ole Miss.

Arky vs. tu would be a shootout.

Sips will lose at least one more, probably two and maybe three (OSU, Tceh, WV and Iowa St.). And that's with a healthy Ehlinger. It will take care of itself. The polls today just show how absent and out of touch many of the voters are.

Also, because we compete for the same recruits and perception is reality.

If they win 11 games and slide into the playoff, recruits will gravitate to them. The accompanying media hype will ensure it. They're 18, they don't, for the most part, understand the difference in level of competition.

Is it really impossible to imagine a team that lost to Maryland and struggled with Baylor and may have lost their starting QB losing a game to OkSt, Tech, WVA, or Iowa St? I think there is one loss and possibly two in that group.

Because stars matter?

If we are going to compete with Bama, LSU, Florida, and Georgia, we can afford to lose recruits to texas because the media makes it appear that they are championship caliber.

That said, I think they lose 2 games in their closing stretch and it doesn't matter. We just need to keep winning and find a way to beat LSU.
