Didn't figure he wants to drive 30 min to the other side of town.

OP, I'd recommend Brewster street just across the bridge from Portland.

Think a group of Ags would watch at vernon's bbq. Near downtown. Dewey's is a good sports place. Lots of TVs. Food. Owned by a huge Cleveland fan - it's a certified browns bar or some ***** Third coast sports (spid/airline area ") if you want the sports bar that turns into a club type place. Boathouse bar and grill down on the island was good too sometimes. And scuttlebutts on the island. CC has a bar, subway and whataburgee on about every corner so plenty options.

The Executive Surf Club always has Ags, Same with Vernon's.

I moved to Midland to get away from Corpus.

Hardknocks on Everhart hosted local Ag club game watches a couple years ago.

If you want the most TV's in Town...........it is Twin Peaks.

A decent local (college) bar is Murdocks (Strip mall near Airline and Holly)

Anything downtown is overrated and too far (unless you are staying in a hotel there).

Downtown is the part of Corpus closest to him
