Silence is the perfect response, along with a look of bewilderment/disbelief.

You must live a sad life...bamabama97 said:
In all honesty, losses between our programs are not comparable for the fans or the teams. For A&M, middling conference seasons have been the norm since the SWC. For the Tide, we're a blue-blood program at the start of the greatest renaissance college football has ever known.
When y'all were making your way to the SEC, I remember a sip friend of mine saying, "Congrats on your new little brother. They'll somehow manage to spoil a couple of good seasons for you like they did us." However, I knew that wouldn't be the case. The sips struggled with y'all because, even though they're blue bloods, they're not like us. They're not winners. We don't falter, and we don't lose.
So when we lose even one game, it's a painful ordeal. I know I can't even talk to my kids the rest of the day, and the wife knows to give me at least a 24 hour cool-off period (or 48, if it's LSU) before talking to me again. She and my kids go to spend the night at my brother's house, and I - along with Tide nation - reflect on why we lost to a team that didn't deserve the win. That's the kind of pain and dedication that go into bleeding Crimson.
