For a genius he doesn't talk much football. He's not an X's and O's guy. Think he's a players coach.

There is such difference when you listen to Jimbo vs Sumlin, hermensa etc.

If you want coach-speak that never actually tells you anything, he didn't give that to you.

I, personally, appreciate honesty. If Mike Leach had given the same answer to the same question, ya'll would think it's funny and that he's a great coach. Herman does it and it's funny and he's a bad coach.

I think it remains to be seen what kind of coach he is or becomes but the fact is, that he is a dip**** right now!

I disagree. He even said the question caught him off guard. A person in his position should have an answer ready. Especially during media days. Lol

He went blank. Had nothing. You or I could have done what he did. Sat there looking stupid.

Leach would have said,

" playmakers?? Bwahahahaha did you see us play last year? Did you watch our games? Our water boys fell down running to the huddles. Our best player was our punter. Our qb doesn't remember last year. He got a few bumps along the way. Nothing serious. He still played...

I have no idea what we have. I'll let you know after September if someone shows up"....
