Dont know about yall, but Spring practice and watching Jimbo talk football like a serious coach with no bubble gum or attitude has me ready to watch some football.
Is anyone planning on making the Spring Game a true game day experience (ie. Tailgating, tents, etc)? We are taking a motorhome and got one of the last spots available...all of the lots are full! Can't wait!
Also just heard about the Aggie Legends flag football game at halftime. Should be a cool day!!!

Hmmm. May have to do that. Anyone know if tailgating in Spence will be open? Most importantly, can I drink on campus since it isn't an official game?

I'm sure glad that bubble gum is gone too! We lost many games because of that...

Love the culture change Jimbo is bringing. I would expect a rather sloppy spring game though. It takes time to effectively implement a pro-style offensive scheme.

jimbo has had so many recruits (and a lot of out of state recruits at that) visit all this last week and is going to have more on spring game weekend. if this is what it feels like to have a nationally-respected coach then i like it and i don't ever want to go back to having a regional coach.

Gonna be a TON of people in town that weekend: Parents Weekend, Spring Game, Alabama Baseball game, Ring Day Friday. No reason NOT to have a TON of folks at the game.

According to the press release, the 2018 Maroon And White Game will be treated like any other game, with an Aggie Fan Zone, concessions, and traditional scoring with the two teams not having any idea what plays are coming. Captains will draft the teams prior to the game.

Plus, during halftime there will be an Alumni flag football game featuring Johnny Manziel, Dat Nguyen and others. This is going to be a show.

Basically, cain Garage and UCG will be $10, and WCG will be $5 parking. Lots of Uber drivers in CSTAT now, too.

You can also prepay for parking for that day by going to transport.tamu.edu and select Parents Weekend for the "event". There's a small upcharge.

if you are counting no bubble gum as an improvement, I feel sorry for the people who sit next to you at the games. They have to be miserable listening to you rant nonsense every year.

It's bad enough when your team is losing. Add some stupid guy running his mouth about nonsense like this and it truly ruins the experience.

Difference here is that Jimbo is a proven consistent winner at the highest levels of CFB, and neither Sherman or Fran were.

I'm flying in from Seattle for the spring game, picking up my brother & sister (alums) in different states on the way.

Anyone know how tickets / access works? I read they're making it free but will it just be open seating and we just show up? Do we pay for better seats? I may have missed it elsewhere, but I don't want to show up and have gotten it wrong. Thx!

I'll be coming down for the game, and am perfectly OK with the "Free" option, but the access to beer in the "suites and zones" would be so much better. Y'all know if the forums are the best place to seek those upgraded seats? (want to make sure I'm following etiquette)

Imagine the sights we could see if there was a Zoo section.

I would want to be there to see Heddy Lamarr escorted out in a straight jacket murmuring over and over again "THIS is what WE got for $75 million" A close second is to guess the number of feet in Johnny's restraining order against Champagnepapi. It would be fun to walk past a smiling CoachLB telling everyone "Now this...this is real football".
