And the ESPY for most QB transfers goes to
Kevin Sumlin University of Arizona.

Like nearly every qb who left A&M under Sumlin this guy wasn't going to see the field because he sucks and was buried four deep on a. depth chart that includes a heisman candidate...Kyle Allen sucks and that wac proven at Houston, if you're building a program you're honest with the dead weight and tell them you want them to do the rest but thing for themselves and go somewhere where they can play and give the scholarship back to be used for someone who can actually play in the confer nice the school is assigned to play in

Ok, BFD, he's gone, let's get behind Fisher and forget Summlin. To think of it it gives me a headache!Million said:

This is the most overplayed criticism of Sumlin. Finbaum said it over and over when in fact I believe Saban has had more QBs transfer in the same amount of time as Sumlin. QBs transfer all the time especially when they are not getting playing time. Cooper Bateman was a five star who got replaced by Hurts, transferred to Utah State and was third-team last year at Utah State. Hurts will be the next one that transfers from Bama unless he beats out Tua who will then in turn transfer.
I agree. Sumlin should of pulled Allen out during the first half of the Ole Miss game a couple of years ago and said that Allen was hurt during the post-game instead of insinuating that Allen (and Murray for that matter) did not yet have the mental makeup. You could see that Sumlin was struggling for the words as he was trying to talk around an injury worrying about the HIPPA law (remember Fran). All he had to say was that Allen was hurt because everyone could tell that he had a shoulder problem. I think right then was when Allen and his dad decided on transferring after the season.Emilio Fantastico said:Coog_aTm said:

You are correct. Really the only QB mismanagement that you can hang on Sumlin is the Allen/Murray debacle. When you let a situation get so toxic that both QBs that would've been your starter leave, it's just a really bad failure as the head coach.
Although Allen didn't light up either place, overall he looked better at A&M than uh.Emilio Fantastico said:heddy Lamarr said:

I guess you conveniently forgot that if either Allen or Murray would've stayed that they would've been the starter the next season.
And no one who wasn't there even knows that.Emilio Fantastico said:Coog_aTm said:
