I saw that the Washington Redskins picked up Dwayne (sp?) Goines off of the waiver wire yesterday. I hope he does well. The guy had wheels.

Gig'em, Dwaine! Maybe they saw the speed of Bethel Johnson and wondered if Goines drank from the same fountain. (Although, I agree that he needs to work on keeping the ball in his hands.)

I remember a catch he made from Farris in the Gallery Furniture bowl. He went down the middle, caught it in full stride was was gone. He's a fast dude.

Goynes had a beautiful catch in Ames one year for a long TD. Threw it to him again, wide open, and he dropped a sure long TD, right off his hands.

First one was pretty though.

I personally believe there is no Dwain Goynes, only Wilbert Biggens with a fake ID. But that is just me.

Nice Wilbert Biggens reference. He was a cool guy. I heard a funny story once about him punching out Corey Pullig in the weight room.

Goynes had a nice catch-n-run for a TD vs. Wyoming in 2001 too.

It's true Dwayne had no hands, but this is because he never was truly a receiver. He didn't play one in high school and shouldn't have been one at A&M. I believe this is because his hands are too small.

Congratulations to him. I had talked to him after he tried out and he was just waiting to hear.

In all fairness, I think Goines did not get ample time to develop, much like Priest Holmes at Texas. I think he may be great on special teams for some NFL program out there.
