Serious question. Why would an all conference offensive lineman who has or will be graduated not enter the draft?

I hope his car breaks down somewhere in Bastrop, and when he gets out to figure out what's going on, a family of 5 from Oklahoma pulls up to help him out. Two of the three children don't get out of the RV. The mother, father, and kid #3 get out to have some small talk and see if they could help. The three don't recognize who he is. The father diagnoses the problem and fixes it, as he spent his formative years helping his father, an expert auto mechanic, in the garage the family operated out of. Mazzone gets back in his car and makes it to Austin significantly behind schedule #letsride.

The only thing they might* could do is watch film in the office, otherwise they cannot go do evaluations or anything like that.

*You also cannot pay expenses for someone to "scout", "study", or "evaluate" recruits. I'm not sure if that means these guys are allowed to watch film of recruits at the office as part of their day-to-day jobs or not.

He is a Rice grad left tackle (don't remember his name) when I YouTubed his name there were a ton of videos of him solving a rubrics cube behind his back. I believe he is a bubble guy that was told to stay in school one more year.

There is also a second grad transfer coming in for a visit ironically he is from Stanford. He was injured a lot last year but was a multiple year starter for them. Texas is bringing in a couple more as well

That makes a little more sense than if he was all conference at a P5 school.

The only bit of news anyone should take away from this story is that the A&M OC's next job ended up being a quality control assistant.

That's the hire that ultimately did Sumlin in. Many called it exactly for what it was back then.

Go back to Fran and look at "next jobs" for the HC's and coordinators. So many misses.

That wasn't really directed at you, more of a response to any who think Gunnel likes Mazzone that much.

In my opinion, we need to beat Arky this year and hope they have a 6-6 type season. We don't want them to have any positive momentum and I would be worried about losing him if they won 8 or more games next season. Keep Arkansas down and there is no way he goes there.

Yea, saved us some money by now going to UAz.

The 'Zona release said that Mazzone was coming along with KWS as was Clarence McKinney.

Mazzone to Austin was purely for recruiting 2019. He could say, I was just at A&M and trust me, you'd rather be here.

He will work his magic over in Austin. I was tired of his tricks that didn't work.
