Zoo posters seem to think that any A&M news is uniquely snowflaky special.

What does this mean?
Many people here don't seem to understand that the same things happen at every large university. You think everything that happens at A&M is unique and that the whole world is watching. This board is great for humor and casual discussion, but the second a member of the administration is in the news, posters like you come out of the woodwork to turn it into a high school drama.

Outside of TexAgs, Buzbee is mainly known as a rich and flamboyant trial lawyer. And his personal life doesn't effect you or me in any way.
You could not be more wrong in this assertion. I can't tell you how many smarmy comments I have had to ignore since the UCLA thing. And, those I am sure to get when I return to work due to this incedent. So, yes, his actions do have an affect on others.

You're not getting personal with other posters?
I'm not attacking the personal character, integrity or ethics of people I don't know. I'm not posting lies about how they're negatively effecting my life. I'm not fabricating stories about the personal lives of people I don't know.

I would say this board was an embarrassment if anyone outside of Brazos County took it seriously, but that's not the case.

First of all, how do you determine lies from truth on a forum? I would be interested to know. Finally, learn when to use effect vs affect as you will sound more intelligent; and, thereby more believable.

Effect is a verb you should know how to use.

But go ahead and add "pedantic ass" to "whiny child" in your profile.

Now I've got to go see a therapist to figure out how to recover from your smarmy comments.

To your first comment I suggest you go back and correct your posts for proper use.
To your second I do not meet either definition.
And, to your third, I have been reading your posts for some time and it never occurred to me that you were a snowflake.

The Walnut Hill address was Michael Gaubert's place from 2007 until it was foreclosed in 2015! She hasn't changed her address I guess?

I am not sure why my original post in response to this post was deleted, but I'll repost it while waiting to see if Staph is deleting it for some reason. All of the information below is found in public records.

It makes sense that Lindy Lou Layman's home address in the charges filed against her is 5934 Walnut Hill Lane in Dallas because according to the Dallas Central Appraisal District records for this property it was owned by Michael Gaubert--a Dallas commercial real estate attorney and the founder and chairman of Get Me Ridesharing--and his apparent ex-wife Yvonne (nee Detz) from 2004-2012, when the deed for the home was transferred solely to Michael. After 2014 the deed for the home was listed in the name of three different trustees, meaning Michael may have put the home in trust.

The only public evidence of Michael Gaubert possibly being married to Lindy Lou Layman is from the article "Dallas preps for Hollywood Domino party with close ties to Johnny Depp" published online in August 2014 by Culture Map Dallas in which the picture above appeared and listed her as Lindy Gaubert. If she was in fact married to Michael, she may have received the home as part of a divorce settlement. As such there seems to be nothing strange about that being Lindy Lou Layman's legal address.

As a side note, the property at 5934 Walnut Hill Lane is worth over $3 million; boasts a 7,144-square-foot main residence, 800-square-foot guest house, pool, tennis court, and hot tub; and is in the neighborhood known for Dallas elites including Pres. George W. Bush and his wife Laura.

I found it interesting. The house thing makes a lot more sense now.
normaleagle05
How long do you want to ignore this user?

It was listed under a number of trustees because the it was foreclosed on in 2015. When foreclosures happen the original trustee is almost always replaced with a substitute trustee. The house was sold in 2015 by a substitute trustee's deed.
