Something that went unnoticed last night is he said he wants to be a coach, when I'm pretty sure not that long ago it was his dream to be a veterinarian. Just interesting I guess.

I'm still in the veterinary program at my high school. I realized (this was always in the back of my mind) that I'm not strong enough for the job. I can't bare the idea of having to put down an animal, even if it's for the best.

I love football, and it doesn't envolve killing animals. I look up to my coaches and I hope to be like them.

I don't want to reignite an arguement, but I assure you I'm not trolling. I should've conducted myself better last night, and I apologize. That being said, I didn't ignore any facts last night.

Also, I believe that putting down animals is sometimes the right thing to do. I'm just not strong enough to do it myself.

Thanks for finding that error. I was pretty tired last night and obviously I didn't proof read my work. I don't want to misinform anyone.

i hope this teenage poster (the OP) is getting whatever validation he is so obviously seeking in this thread.

just the thought of some teen out there whose self esteem might be harmed makes me so sad.

I'm not an Aggie yet, but I'll be taking my freshman classes in College Station in less than 3 years. It's odd really because I felt it was the opposite way on this thread (I was just talking football and then it felt like other posters went out of their way to hijack it and debate me).

I've said it multiple times on this thread through - I definitely should've been more cordial last night as well as less dismissive of other people's viewpoints. I apologize for that. I still think I'm correct in this case, but that doesn't give me the right to be rude to other posters. In the words of a wise poster on this thread (cappy), not every hill is worth dying on.
