Get a **cking dog OP. How many coaches have been fired this year just in the SEC alone, not to meant nationally? It's part of the business and these kids know it, albeit they still are very emotional. There might be a few transfers at all the schools, and definitely recruits lost, but that's price of admission, REGARDLESS of how a university handles it.

what's happening is not new nor the last time. It's actually normal for this type of thing.

they would be stupid to do so, but nice try. players want to make it to the NFL...they wouldn't be thinking strategically about their futures when they have a statistically better coach like Fisher coming to take over. a good coach only elevates their potential.

Good players don't transfer when a coaching change occurs, they may jump to the NFL early, but they don't transfer. Bad/average players will when they realize the new coach doesn't like their abilities as much as the old one.

Oh well. We have a lot of 5 star high school players that are 2-3 star collegiate performers, and have a lot of transfers when the coaching staff doesn't change. Clean house at the top and whatever else happens will happen.
Perhaps. But the NFL rookie pay structure makes that less likely for the best players since they are 3 and out anyway (including any redshirt year); why waste an extra year sitting out if you are heading pro? And if you are not then you probably aren't leaving either.
I expect a lot of transfers when Bright Country Club gets a dose of reality about what it really takes to win at a high level.
