Agree with many other posters - what's the difference? Sumlin seems to have transfers just about every year.

A firing announcement followed by two weeks or more of 'national Coach searching' will likely wreck the roster a bit. They already know who they want. Fla-Fla St. kicks off at 11am. If they are getting Jimbo, (which I'm not convinced is a good thing) then there's no need to fake a search.

Whoever is coaching next year they know going in that 9 wins is the floor. So anything less than 9 wins next year is a fail. But as always I am hopeful that things will be good.
Right. I mean fake, they are only now actually searching because they want to show they were committed to Sumlin. Just don't waste time without a head coach for very long.
New recruits at least will know who their coach will be for the next few years.

Why he has a fresh start to earn the starting job with a scheme that Starkle won't already have a full year advantage in. He will also have a new OC that might cater to his strengths more so than Stakle. EJ Manuel James Winston, and Franscious were all somewhat dual threats which is what Jimbo has been used to as of late.
