I thougt players occupying lineman positions on the punt team could not release until the ball was kicked. Does Arky's funky formation allow them to run downfield immediately? That is why they are on top of Kirk so fast.

People are so pissed everything has to be a bad call now
The play call might have been good, but at the end of the day you absolutely have to call plays that your offense can execute, and call plays that are in line with the personnel you have. The bad call was throwing that play when it has not been successful all year and choosing a package that included that WR with poor hands running a route that required decent handling of the football.
As a coordinator you HAVE to coordinate play calls with personnel. That didn't happen....so yeah BAD play call.
