I love it. I've actually been doing it by myself for 10 years and it finally caught on!! Love it!! (also, it means that we made a freaking First Down!!)

Curious if the Corps fish practices yelling "Offense! (Clap clap). Offense!! (Clap clap)" at Yell practice. Seemed to have it down really well in the 2nd half.

I second this. If I didn't have to work today I would respond to it 1000x. Have already e-mailed TMF and AD. Whatever else needs to be done. Do it.

I am OK with most other gameday enhancements. This one is terrible and needs to be eliminated ASAP, as in before Sat. and never seen or heard again!!!

Does anyone hate the NFL/NBA type music they try to interject to "get the crowd going".
Started when Kyle renovation was completed.
Like being in a bar, when there is finally a break to be able to speak to the person next to you, can't even hear each other.
Then they are oblivious to the yell leaders and FTAB, playing that %*$# over it or not stopping in time.
What is the point of playing the music for 6 seconds.
DJ tried to mix up genres but it absolutely not needed.
We do not need to be artificially motivated.
If it MUST be done, how about turning the volume down 90% and use it as background music.

Is it true the yell leaders PRACTICED the 'first down' response at Midnight yell? I thought the intelligence level of the student body was a bit higher than to have to PRACTICE a two word response. This whole thing is about 2nd grade level participation, and no disrespect to enthusiastic 2nd graders. Glory!!! what is next on this remake of the game day experience?

If your going to do something for first downs how about "move the chains" (chanted 3 times) followed by a hoorah.

I used to laugh at the high school football team announcer celebrating first downs. It's like since they sucked at getting touchdowns, you had to celebrate something. It's the everybody gets a trophy mindset.

Is that what we are now?

well, first downs for our offense is special now.

I used it and got a response they would forward to Gameday Experience Task Force.

They need to be inundated with e-mails to get rid of this before the ULL game.

I just filled out the form and sent comments to 12Man. In addition to expressing my displeasure and disgust with the "new game-day experience" at Kyle Field, I asked for the name of the decision-maker who is responsible for the trash. Drain the swamp, starting there if necessary.

Some of what I wrote:
"Give me a good game, a big, loud crowd and the Aggie band. That's all that I need for a great atmosphere. I remember when that's exactly what we had...and Kyle field rocked. If I want to go to a rock concert, I will! If I want to go to a rap concert, I will! (Had I wanted to be a Baylor Bear, I'd have gone to Baylor.) The "atmosphere" at the Nicholls game was annoying and numbing...just something to be tolerated. An Aggie game is no place for loud, garbage-music and loud, annoying artificial noises blasted through the sound-system. I can't conceive of even one person going to an Aggie game for the music and artificial noise; I know at least one person (me) who because of it may not continue to buy football and basketball season tickets. At the Nicholls game, I asked myself this question: "Why am I paying to be annoyed." I repeat: Give me a good game, a loud crowd and the Aggie band. That's the atmosphere that I need."
