I thought the music selection was a huge improvement. Also seemed like we had more yells and they did good cutting music when a yell would start up.

Agreed the dj was the mvp of the atmosphere today. I like the atmosphere if only the football team can follow suit.
I do not recognize TAMU. MY GOD that was awful. The coaching, the play, the atmosphere, it's all gone. If I didnt have a son in the band, I would not return until the house is fumigated and rid of all that have ruined my University.

Years ago in the '70's, the Aggie Band would play almost between every play; and instead of stopping the song when play on the field resumed, they would simply soften the volume, only to blast it when the play was over and Ags had made a big stop or big gain. That was an experience. Imagine "Patton" or " Mobel Men of Kyle" or any other favorites playing loud, then softly....and then thunderously after a big play. I'm sad for those that never experienced that. Trust me, you would relish it.

He played a mix of "jock jams" type material to make everyone fake-pumped up about a garbage product. We used to not need that even when we had ultratrash on the field. We snuck alcohol in, we yelled, we made jokes about ourselves and our opponents, we made friends of people we would never see again.
