• A recent article put us at #14 in the SEC QB power rankings
• Pre draft articles suggested that Jonathan Allen is a better player than Myles
• Criticized Garrett for not going on Mike and Mike
• They love to drone on about our QB transfers and decommits
• Their most recent power rankings put us 11th in the SEC
• A recent article projects South Carolina and Mississippi State to upset us next year, and we are not picked to upset anyone.

Basically, they just troll A&M in order to get angry Aggies to click and comment, generating more ad revenue for them. Don't give SDS the satisfactions

I assume you know all this by being one of their loyal readers.

I used to be one of their readers, but I have decided that i will no longer put up with their agenda. I tried to debate the authors but they were just rude and arrogant. I feel that there is no reason to give them any more ad money.

The only ones that I find objectionable are the ones about Garrett. If you can't recognize that guy is a once every few years type of talent, then you're kidding yourself.

As for the rest, while I hope and don't think we'll be that bad, I can completely understand how one could reasonably come to that conclusion from the outside looking at us...hell, the wheels could easily come off of our program this fall between these untested, young QB's struggling. Our system is absolutely built on QB play. If we lay an egg at QB with what we lost on defense last year, it will be a long season.

I never said that there entire business model was based on trolling us. They know that Aggies take their pride seriously. Trolling us is one of the many ways that they get clicks and ad revenue.

They aren't trolling us.

The only remotely "bad" thing you listed is the Allen/Garrett draft thing.

I just tracked it down to read. It says Garrett has higher ceiling and is better athlete, they'd take Allen because overall production and lower floor. That's not anything remotely controversial.

Troy Aikman always says that after Dallas Cowboys games he gets the most hate mail - half the mail comes from opponents fans who are absolutely certain that since he's a former Cowboy, he's a shill for them and only praises them on the air. The other half from Cowboys fans livid that he "over compensates" in their opinion and only trashes his team.

The point is we all view what is written/said about our teams through a very narrow lens and just cause you've noticed some critical pieces (by the way, Sumlin is kind of in a really critical spot right now, so let's not pretend there aren't legit points to discuss that aren't all sunshine and roses) doesn't mean anything is being done in a concerted effort to tarnish A&M.

It's actually quite naive to believe these sites care enough about us right now to go out of their way to somehow drive a narrative (that is backed up by on field performance enough that you can't really lay claim to it being based anywhere else beyond results).

In short - it looks silly when we're constantly boycotting folks for writing aritcles that aren't glowing about a team that has failed to live up to the hype since year 1 and have more questions than answers going into this year.
