So? His dad spent a spent a little money on something that they both enjoy. That's a good thing. My dad's not an Aggie, but I have a lot of good sports memories with him at both our schools. I'm much older than Chedda and my dad's probably much older than his, but my old man and I still go to games together. Who cares if dad spends some money on something he cares about?

ChiliBean...You don't get it...we are all good AGS here..the point I was making was that "good AGS" will never get that opportunity that was afforded to that young man.. just because you are a good AG! You get nowhere with that kind of meetings w/out coin and pull. Try calling Sumlin's office and see how far you get...

False. If you really want to meet players and coaches, you can. When Chedda gets to school as a student, he'll see them on campus or around town - they are humans after all, especially if he gets involved with student organizations. Of course there are benefits to being a donor or spending different amounts of money; your cynicism is a little odd coming from a guy who pays for a Premium subscription.

But no, I've never tried calling Sumlin in his office and don't foresee doing so, despite my brilliant thoughts on the offense. Not sure what you're mad about; why not be happy an enthusiastic young fan got a good dose of maroon koolaid on his birthday?
