This. The clock is ticking on his opportunity to showcase his talents. Playing time and SEC exposure are big pluses for A&M, together with the education and benefits of the Aggie network. However, young people make bad decisions sometimes, so there's that.

It would be great if Sheffield commits to us, and he becomes the shutdown corner we desperately desire. I know he was highly rated coming out of high school (5*?), but we nay need to tap the brakes on expectations. Seems like I read an article a couple of weeks ago on BON where there were quoting Saban and the challenges Sheffield was having at corner. I can't remember the exact quote/issue (sorry). I'm not trying to be 'NegativeNancy', just hoping for the best and hoping to moderate expectations.

I can confirm that the coaching staff is busy filling out the recruiting class that consists of quite a few surprises that I can't yet go public with yet, but you should feel great about the hard work that this staff has done to this point and is is clear they are working hard and not letting up on the goal as it gets late in the year. It is also of special note that this is all occurring while the team is preparing for the bowl game. Make no mistake and to be as clear as I can be on the matter that the wheels are moving forward in the success of this program. I will post more as soon as I can. Stay tuned.

You have to look at who is predicting and when they predicted.

Hence my concern over Seahorn, who's record is good and his prediction recent.
