We are not going to get one of the top 3-5 coaches in CFB. We got really lucky (then again not so much) with Franchione taking from Bama. IT was only due to the probation they were finding themselves buried in at the time Of course, that ended up being a bad hire, but had a massive WHOA factor when we plucked him.

None of the big name guys will come here now. Why do it? they can leverage our opening with their present employers. We will always be the second best program in the state. No matter what.

Hire a young, hungry guy who wants to build his own legacy. Hire someone who gets us. Not worth a culture mis-match like Fran/Sherm/Sumlin.
