Sure it's a good excuse to get to Australia, but how many fans can really afford to do this? A couple thousand? I'm sure the band wouldn't be going and even the yell leaders and revillie would have to be like woh that's expensive unless they were on the team plane.

I'm sure Cal and Hawaii are finding a way to make a ton of money off this game, but I'm not sure I'd be particularly pleased if A&M played a game out of the country when there are so many great college football stadiums in America that we've never played at. I cannot wait to attend at the Rose Bowl next year.

Don't know about Hawaii but Cal is supposed to be making $1mil+ off this game.

I don't go to games at Kyle and I live in Clear Lake. Unless you throw Elle into the deal that's a big negatory.

This was the game that Baylor was trying to arrange for a few years. Not sure why whomever was doling out the money decided Hawaii was a better "draw" than Baylor. <snicker>

Heck yes, I live only a four hour flight away...and haven't seen the ags play in person in a few years.

If I lived in Sydney Australia and the game was in my back yard, then yes. Otherwise tv & couch > going to the game.

I'd rather it was in Melbourne, but yes I'd go. Melbourne's a little more sports crazy and Victoria (the state where Melbourne is located) is where Australian Football is played. Even though it's nothing like our football, I think the crowd would turn out and get into the game. Sydney is more rugby centric and more uptight.

I think to go for a football game you would need to take two weeks to make it worthwhile

I think if I was to plan a big family vacation to coincide with a game, then yeah, I would go. But I seriously doubt I could frame the suggested family vacation to my wife as a means of watching a football game in Sydney or Melbourne or Perth in any way that would not be shot down like a kamikaze diving on an aircraft carrier.
