By far, the most disturbing aspect of all of this is that nobody of any standing at Baylor seems to have any interest in doing what is right above all other considerations. Can anybody just do the right thing?
That's the strange part about this. I just don't get it. Even if I could dream up the most far fetched scenario where Briles is 100% innocent of wrongdoing, I simply cannot imagine a scenario where you would keep him.
And am I the only Aggie who would be willing to see our football program go into the crapper if the same exact thing were going on with our program today? I know it's easy to think of a what if scenario (which I simply can't imagine really happening in the first place) and say I would want to do the right thing. But being an Aggie, doing the right thing, and not giving a damn about football over a situation like this seems to be a no brainer.
