The city and Baylor completed a land swap with Baylor paying 3 million to demolish their old place

Baylor gets land close to campus for some sort of research facility with Scott and white.

I watched my first Aggie game at Floyd back in the day. Watched as the baylor band marchEd out for pregame festivities and stood at attention with their twirlers standing proudly on the 50 yard line. George Woodard strolled by one of these good looking girls and causally reached over and grabbed her $ss. She jumped 10 foot high and ran off the field in a huff. I knew immediately it would be more fun to be an ag and raid Waco every other year than to have to stay in waco for school.

That went down almost as fast as one of their co-eds.

I saw two A&M/Baylol games there - 1979 and 1989. It was in rough shape in '89. Not a huge loss to see it go.
