Fortunately, the trans issue is nothing but Pop culture. People should treat it as such. Like everything else that is pop culture, it eventually dies for awhile. Remember that only 3.2% of Americans identify as being gay and an even smaller number identify as something other than what they were born as. Only a small percentage of that 3.2% are activists. So, we are catering to this very vocal, but very minor part of society. The issue is the attention that pop culture has put on it because of pop culture media pushing their own agendas.
I find it hilarious that if a man walked into a grocery store and began hanging his arm, running around the store, claiming to be an elephant, drinking water and spraying it at people, he would probably be arrested and admitted into a mental hospital. But a man who claims to be a woman, which they clearly are not, dresses up in high heels, obviously strains to make his voice higher, wearing a dress, gets to impose their "rights" on everyone else.
I don't post that to be homophobic. I post it to illustrate the illogical actions of our society.
On a side note, with the bathroom issue of trans, where we pee or poop has very little to do with our own comfort. It has everything to do with the comfort of others. Otherwise, I'd be peeing outside all the time, because nothing is more comfortable that walking into my backyard early in the morning, letting my dog out, and taking a pee right there, feeling the cool morning air on my boys. Should I have the right to do that in view of others? How about the potted plant outside the bathroom, I feel more comfortable going in it.
Relevant because gender of birth is the only thing that should matter in college athletics.
