There's been a lot of arguing lately...lord knows I've wasted too many hours arguing about recruiting and the program the past day or two...
...but what I've struggled with the whole time is why people are so adamant to rationalize their feelings about _____ recruit that turned down A&M or ______ player that decided to transfer?
What's wrong with just saying "I'm mad at that player because he left A&M!"
Why do we have to go out of our way to try to rationalize that its a good thing such and such a player left. It'd be a lot easier and save everyone a lot of grief. And I don't think anyone can blame a fan for being upset that a player turned down the fan's school.
Most importantly, wouldn't it be a more honest assessment that most of us are just mad that _____ turned down A&M instead of writing a dissertation about someone you've never met?
