Its not because Sumlin was handed a bunch of crap and had a rough start to his career here. They did it because they apparently had no expectation of the players and coaches that Sumlin had recruited and hired.
Maybe A&M is better off this season after the players and coaches that SUMLIN RECRUITED and SUMLIN HIRED have transferred or been fired.
