If you didn't believe Lyndsey was coming here, then why post the crap about "citing moorehead tweets"?

And yes, you are too worked up. A coach said something truthfull about loyalty on twitter and you're flipping out about it and acting like its the end of Aggie football.

Stop empowering their SJW bull****. They aren't victims, stop being so e-offended about a coach speaking the truth.

Dude, where are you getting this **** from? I'm acting like its the end of Aggie football??? Where did i say anything close to that? You seem to be projecting some **** on me.

All I said is get Moorehead off twitter. I also called him an idiot for tweeting what he did at a recruit. And then further arguing with fans via twitter.

Thats not how adults should act.

The whole recruiting process has turned into a freaking joke. A commitment means absolutely nothing these days. I'm done with listening to anything recruiting wise until signing day. It's bull crap and I'm sick of it.

If you can handle a subtweet, there's a 100% chance you can't handle an SEC defense. Baby lotion soft

I hope moorhead doesn't try to recruit guys verbally committed elsewhere, I mean loyalty is everything.

Our coach has to be more of a professional than that regardless of whether his stance is correct or not. This is Texas A&M, don't need to see a grown man use the '100' emoji while insulting recruits.

Coach should not have done that for sure, but let's be honest...the WR was gone anyway. He already had one foot out the door and Tate leaving (again not a surprise) plus LSU solidified that. The fact he's using it as an excuse is all you need to know.

The others are just kids these days. Can't get your feelings hurt over a tweet...especially when it's the truth

These kids think a negative tweet is adversity....

I think Moorehead had a moment where he could not handle the entitlement of today's kids.

Its good to let some of these kids be someone else's problem.

If people are citing that tweet as a reason not to consider A&M... What is getting hit in the mouth by an SEC LB going to do? or a loss mid season when they didnt feel like they played as much as they should have?

You need a strong locker room before taking on divas that are good at the high school level and by no means a sure thing at the next level. Everyone is good in high school.. Even 5'10 quarterbacks.

Crap like this is what is wrong with today's high school kids. They can't handle being called out. They immediately take offense and cower in the corner while trying not to piss themselves. They are immature and can't handle the truth.

Hey dumbass kids EVERYWHERE, you are not God's gift to this world. You are simply the fastest sperm. Your safe space was your mom's womb. Welcome to the real world ****ers.

First of all, he didn't mention anything about a recruit. If the shoe fits though, they can wear the **** out of it. Why the hell would you want someone that's not going to be loyal to the coach?

but he only has a super bowl ring for playing that exact position he coaches.. So what does he know, right?

There is nothing wrong with the tweets. The problem is we aren't paying these recruits enough.

When I think of loyalty I do not think of college football coaches. Irony.

He probably already knew they were all going to leave that's probably why the tweet came out. Why would someone leave because a coach said something about loyalty? Not that I care too much because I quit following the Tate news but what happened with him? Oh well on to the next recruit. Give me someone that wants to prove his worth over someone who thinks he doesn't need to improve.

You said it. My thoughts exactly. Not SEC good, don't care, etc, etc. Go make a name for yourself in the BDF-BDF-BDF!! All of these kids that decommit are scared and wouldn't cut it in the Big Boy League. We are well rid of them!!!

What did he tweet that wasn't true? The message is a true one. Dont "commit" if you don't mean it. Nothing wrong with staying uncommitted until a lot longer in the process. The fact that "decommitting" has even become a word is the problem.

In the race for recruiting classes coaches aren't getting the message across to only commit if you mean it. if unsure then dont. Dealing with 16-18 year old kids. they don't know what they want for lunch today. So who knows what they will want in a year.

You nailed it, of course, my brother! Now this kid is going to go play in whatever ****ty conference LSU plays in! Not ready to play big boy football at A&M!

If all of that is true, then his second post trying to disclaim he was talking about recruiting was probably a lie.

It's not so much whether it's true or not, it's that posting that stuff on Twitter and then arguing with randoms makes him sound like the tittybabies he's complaining about.

Loyalty is a two-way street. How loyal was Moorehead to his players at Virginia Tech? Leaving for A&M was the same less than 100% commitment he was whining about in others. So there is the hypocrisy issue that no one seems to want to address in addition to the stupidity of him not considering the consequences of his actions. His apology will not undo the damage he caused with his ill advised comments.

He is giving fodder for other programs to negatively recruit us.

His credibilty is gone. How can he lie after the tweet claiming ignorance?

Now what does his word mean when he is still recruiting (actively or passively) a recruit committed to another program, which every coach does?

His personal history shows he is a mercenary without loyalty. Pot meet kettle.

He screwed-up. He went Cousin Eddie on us, whose heart is bigger than his brain.

Did he tell his players at VT that he was staying and then leave?

See the difference?

And what does your reaction of crying in 20+ threads for hours after a true tweet say about you?

Sorry, was I not supposed to take your logic and it apply it to your own melodramatic crap you've been spewing...?

Seriously, just jump.

I don't know what he told the players at Virginia Tech, but I doubt he told them he would be their coach until he received a better offer. So you recognize there are limitations on loyalty, or less than 100% commitment, and you condone it from Moorehead. Shouldn't you expect Moorehead to realize his own less than 100% commitment and allow others the same sort of leeway he gives himself?

The only difference I see is hair splitting. If Moorehead has had any contact with Damion Miller since he committed to Texas then his assertions about loyalty and commitment are comically dishonest. Is that what you want, or expect, from a representative of A&M?

If Netherly decommitted because of that, then he was never actually committed to A&M, he was committed to playing with Tate.

I guess Sumlin has lost control of his assistant coaches!
AMIRITE?!

Oh wait. That looks like it might actually be true and is a significant issue.

Sorry, I totally missed on that joke.
