It really sounds like you know everything about the recruiting process. Kudos man.. except i actually went through the recruiting process. Not on this level but when i visited other schools, i did nothing but focus on that particular school. I picked my school, called the other coaches that recruited me and thanked them. Callef the school i was going to an committed. I then signed on NSD with the place i committed to. But tell me how much you know, youre an expert.
Your point about "not on this level" speaks for itself. Congrats on your JUCO career.

Well if a recruit wants to play here, some whispering from a sip won't matter. Those who commit here can laugh at the ones that sign down the road after the seasons to come.

Lol it wasnt juco.. but even if it was it seems like it was further than you ever dreamt of. High school hero.

We are fine. McCulloch notwithstanding, we have a very good class shaping up. We have the top 2 DE in the state and top 2 corners (both 6-2) committed, 5 OL including a 4 star, a 4 star RB, and a very good 3 star QB committed, just to name some of our class. It will get better on NSD. McC's loss, not ours.

ETA that Jackson may very well end up at LB.

My point was you can't compare recruiting at this level with recruiting on a lessor level. It just does not compare in the least. Much respect to you for doing it the way you felt was right. Sorry about the backhanded JUCO comment.

Funny how those who get told no seem to have fans who can't handle it and resort to making stuff up and calling recruits names and questioning their character. Happens at every school, but usually identifies the losers in the fan base.

Funny how the whorn cawk suckers pop their waterheads up on these threads under the guise of being something other than whorn cawk suckers.
Funny how some always default to: a). assuming everyone with a different opinion is a Texas fan and b). always defaults to references to homosexual activity. Typical high school-type behavior expected from the bottom feeders of a fan base.

So Mack was a silent recruit for us and visited other schools under false pretenses?

I seem to recall him being very open and vocal about A&M. Nowhere close to the same thing.
Mack did not commit to us until NSD. Not saying he was a silent commit, but he DID visit Texas while uncommitted, and recruit for us. Your post could not be more wrong.
You know this how? Link of any sort? Don't remember this being a story at all. In Austin nonetheless, where there are plenty of BS stories...
You don't remember this being a story? It was a huge story on whorn sites last year. So what. This happens ALL the time. Jesus we like playing the victim card, unless the shoe happens to be on the other foot. IT IS NO BIG DEAL.
You don't know what the hell you are talking about...

Mack was committed to us and actively recruited for us. He was a HUGE homer. Then, he went on an OV to TCU (while he was still committed to A&M) on 10/24/14, then an UOV to LSU on 11/8/2014. He decommitted from us on 12/19/2014 and by all accounts we had lost him to TCU.

He went on an OV to A&M on 1/16/15, took an OV to longhorns on like 1/23, to visit his buddy Malik and there was some pretty strong expectations that Malik had reeled in Mack and Kyler.

If Mack was on an OV to the sips, it was well known that he had decommitted from us and there was NO indication he was recruiting for A&M at TCU. If he was recruiting for A&M while in Austin, it was specifically for Malik, whom they were well known to be good friends and they were recruiting each other to their school.

Who is we..? Are you an aggie? The fact 2 sip recruits were caught doing this a week apart is absolutely atrocious. I will gladly root against those disgusting excuses of "men".
Born and bred. Like I said it happens ALL the time. Our recruits have done it as well, and good for them. We need all the help we can get in recruiting. Don't get so damn butthurt over the least little thing.

Malik was already enrolled at UT when Mack took an OV there.

Ignore it. It is another sip troll. They are busting out the socks this week. No one ever accused Mack of doing this. But mods from two different schools have confirmed sip recruits were doing recruiting for tu on official visits, while supposedly uncommitted.

I remember Mack recruiting for us as well.

Now him doing that by himself is much different that Sumlin sending him to schools to recruit for us, which is what y'all are implying Chuckles is doing.

I'm hoping Brandon Jones sees this for what it is. Two people (Cuffee/McCullough) who will look you in the eye, lie to you, and then stab you in the back. They probably think it's funny, but it's a character flaw that I wouldn't want to be around. Especially if they're teammates that I know I will have to be around for the next four years.

Also, if the Texas coaches condoned/encouraged this activity, then what do the parents think about the moral lessons these people are teaching their young adults?

Go look at strong's greatest hits in terms of lying to recruits, lampkin, cherry, and mcneal for an example of core values are actually practiced. The parents only care about their money. Lifelong whornfans and core values are BS excuses.

It's a total bs move by Jm and cuffee. That's a fact. That's the kind of guys chollies recruiting. The same smack talking pos that Mack brown recruited.

I'd bet that j mad was the guy McCullough tried to flip. That's why j mad said after his official that he was more committed than ever because he saw what kind of pos go to tu.

Probably Madu and Jackson. Did Madu really say that? I know he is solidly committed which is huge with Jackson.

Liucci. His in-home was scheduled for last night but Sumlin and Chavis went by his HS and let him know it wasn't happening. They also let him know they knew about his antics on the recruiting trip.

Unfortunately the sips saying he was a lock will only multiple. In general the closeout to this recruiting class is looking like the demise of Sumlin. He isn't a good enough coach to win without bringing in top talent. The root cause will likely be the appearance of instability he created.

Maybe this is all an elaborate plot to make it look like he is a slam dunk for the sips. He could be the silent commit and surprise everyone on signing day.

One can hope.
Seriously Clark? The same thing was said about Cuffee and he is now a solid commit to the sips. JM will commit to them as well. This seriously sucks. We can bury our heads in the sand all we want, but those *******s WILL finish with a higher rated class than ours. Book it.
LOL no they won't.

I read same except that when they got to his school to talk about that night's home visit (apparantly proper procedure), he told them that he was not interested. Makes more sense. Why would a coach waste time driving to someone to tell them no. Sumlin gave it one last try.

Liucci made it seem like they knew what was going on and made him aware of it. Given the way strong has tried to go around HS coaches in the state in terms of the recruiting process, maybe the visit was made to make the HS HC aware of it. Most HS coaches would not condone such behavior.

I'm curious why the waited until now to cancel? You'd think they'd have known about it sooner if he was actually recruiting.

That would be pretty sh***y if he waited until they got there to say he was not interested. Although if everything else is true he may just be that classless. I hope Sumlin and Chavis went there to give him a piece of their mind.

If tu staffs had already known it or agreeded or asked them to do such things during OVs of other schools, is it any kinds of NCAA violation?

Don't think it is within NCAA purview to have "thought police." He was invited, acted in a way that broke his plate so to speak and he left.

NCAA mostly cares about hookers, blow, cash and cars on OVs.

Wasn't Red McCombs there during the big tu OV weekend? He can provide the cars and cash.
