Anyone have any guess as to why it's being kept a secret?

Perhaps the recruit wanted to keep it silent so he could help recruit for us until NSD. Other than that, why would they want to keep it under wraps?

My guess is that it is someone that is announcing on NSD. They've told Sumlin, but asked him to keep it on the down low as to not "ruin" his announcement. My guess: Brandon Jones.

I'm still trying to figure out how staying silent helps us recruit until nsd.... "Hey other recruit, I promise I'm going to A&M but it's a secret ". Versus "hey other recruit im all in for A&M as you can see".

I would tell those I'm trying to sway, and take the opportunity to mess with other teams and recruits. I would have love to troll Miles/Saban. Then again leave the door open and they might change your mind.
