he played with an NFL backfield:

Johnny Hector
Earnest Jackson
Thomas Sanders

the o-line was the primary issue
Coach Tom Wilson was another issue.

Oh, yeah, yeah. Well, not just the Kubes...
...but we had Chris Daughtry, Jeff Probst, super-chef Bobby Flay. It was insane. I mean, it was almost too much.

Gary was a great person, leader, competitor, team mate, football player. He had tremendous footwork and was a great pure passer.
We had a lot of NFL players on the team, but poor football teams that were not coached well. Also, it was a time when SMU, Arky, and Texas could be found in the top 10.
We played intramural round ball as well. He was fierce competitor.

He always worked really hard and never lost sight of his dreams.

Only Manziel was better. Kube was just not part of a top 20 team.

No accident he played in the NFL longer than any other Aggie QB!

I remember hearing the 1982 Rice game on my truck radio while on my son's
boys scout troop camp-out in the Hill Country; Kubiak had a great game..

He was good enough that before the Elway trade, we thought he was going to start for Denver.

Every time he replaced Elway, he was money!

Most people just don't KNOW how good he was. Ags fans never saw all his talents. Dude could spin the ball.

Reggie definitely belongs on the all-time great Aggie QB list.

If it wasn't for Fran ruining his NFL prospects by changing to that Option offense (to cover up for the pathetically horrible Torbush Defense), Reggie probably would've had a great professional career.

Gig 'em.

How many stars did Kubiak get? 3? 4?
