1. It's just bero88. I'm not famous yet. So don't capitalize it.

2. Thanks for starting a thread solely about me.

3. If the only way I can get an agtag is to graduate from Texas A&M, established in 1871 (is that better) then I won't be able to get one.

4. If the above info doesn't make me a true Aggie or it makes me a t shirt fan or whatever you want to call me then so be it. I know I love my Aggies, and always will.

Then why did you offer to get one?
Bc I didn't know what the hell it was. Someone said get one and we will believe you. I guess I could really prove I'm an Aggie and go back and get my masters.

You said you were a coach. You're 27? You coaches Brandon's older brother and his younger brother as well?

Just pm one of us with your name, we can probably dig through your schools recruits and figure out how much of an Aggie you really are through interviews, associations, etc.

If you're a coach, I'm assuming you teach as well. Did you get an education degree from anywhere?

Lots of ways to go about this. How bout your Twitter handle? You mentioned that earlier.
I coached at nacogdoches for 4 years. I'm now coaching in Fairfield. Like I said before, I really want Brandon to go to arm so I can say I coached 2 future Aggies. Charles oliver and Brandon jones. My Twitter handle is @coachbaize. I teach science and got my degree at SFA. Probably one of my biggest regrets in life. I initially couldn't get in to A&M so I went to the next best place I knew. I very easily could have gone to Blinn but didn't feel like taking that route.
So...bero a sip troll.

Thanks for confirming our suspicions.

Not sure what this guy did to be called out other than mention a high school player he considers to be talented.

Maybe you should read up on his posts then? The spin of the recent Texas DB decommitment would be of interest.

I really don't know or much care if bero88 is a sip troll or not. But, what really pisses me off is that bero stated that A&M was established in 1871 - and not a single REAL and TRUE AGGIE stepped up to correct his error.
All this BS from a bunch of 2%'ers about defending the honor of our beloved University and yet they don't even know the basics of the history of A&M.
Yeah, I'm just a rookie lurker here, but, I'm Old Army and a CT - and damn proud to be a keeper of the traditions that make A&M special - one of which is the knowledge that our school was founded in 1876!

It is all about wording. TAMU was established April 17, 1871 but its first clas was October 4, 1876.

Post less. A&M was in fact established in 1871, and REAL and TRUE AGGIES knew that so we let it slide.

During Reconstruction, Matthew Gaines was a Texas state legislator who pushed the state to embrace the Morrill land grant college act, paving the way for the beginning of the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Texas.

This thread is sad and pathetic. Thanks for providing us with you insider info bero. I don't believe in t-shirt fans like most do. The more the merrier in my opinion. If you enjoy cheering for the Aggies then we will gladly have you.

This sounds like it needs to be sourced. Did you copy and paste?

Who was Matthew Gaines?

Matthew Gaines (born August 10, 1967 [1]) was a fictional Australian rock star persona created as an alter ego for Garth Brooks to explore rock and roll styles far removed from his success as a country singer.

No. We had this discussion when I was at A&M. I used the original name of the college as it was founded under the Morrill Act. It encompasses the purpose outlined in the act exactly. I've always liked that full name.

So, take a look at your Aggie Ring crest, and tell me what year it shows to the Public when they see you wearing it.

Just saying ....... play trivial pursuit all you won't, but don't give Ol' Army '72 a ration of crap. He had enough of that as a CT !

The ONLY valid ANNUAL goal for ALL Aggie Sports is a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!

Gig'em !
