Spoke to my buddy on outlook for 2016. These are his thoughts-

Regarding quarterbacks, belief is that this is Knights job to lose with Hubenak being a great guy to push him for the role. This is based on some off campus workouts that Knight has done with players. Guy can spin it and is ready to plug in.

No big news on new OC. Players have met guy but no real strategic stuff in place yet. Based on what has been communicated, Sumlin will be taking more of an active role. Probably means Mazzone as more chief of staff vs. play caller.

People feeling awfully good about Defense now that Chief system is familiar and D line will be salty with Miles, Hall, and Mack anchoring. Expect our identity to be wrecking crew vs. high scoring prolific offense. Limit turnovers on O and big plays on D. We have the personnel to line up with big boys.

I know there is a recruiting weekend but no real updates other than they feel good about the class. My buddy is not a host and I don't follow closely.

Knight had a crappy OC in Heupel and then didn't fit what Lincoln Riley wanted to do with a Kingsbury coached Mayfield sitting there.

Not a huge Knight fan, by any means, but he kind of got a bad deal at OU for awhile.

So a player is sunshine pumping? Of course. Who wouldn't.
Every pitcher should believe they are going to throw a perfect game. (Until they get hit)
Would be unusual to find one that didn't. If they don't believe that. They leave.
