Sorry, got my threads crossed. Was talking about Cuffie, who is openly recruiting for the sips. Jackson has been wavering for a long time, but his constant contact with guys like Red is REALLY not a good sign.

Why are boosters openly involved in the recruiting process? Does Red have a relationship with this player that precedes his recruitment?

Are you talking about Red McCombs? From I have read he showed up on Jackson's official visit and talked to the recruits and then Jackson stopped by the McCombs business school on his way to College Station. I don't think Red was actually there.

He was there. Jackson talked about it in one of his interviews with the whorn sites and it was later edited out.

I have said this before. They are all in this year. If they were actually good, they would be recruiting like lsu. The fact is they are likely to jump at least 20 spots in week. That doesn't happen to teams with back to back losing seasons, even if they are "we're texas" without a lot of extra incentives being doled out.

The key for Jackson is Madu, who Jackson is really close to and solid to A&M.
