Bottom line is it is going to be hard to get recruits on board after the last 3 starting qbs have transferred.. Really easy for any coach in America to spin that against A&M and cast doubt in recruits mind.

Nothing like lying to players, coaches leaving for other jobs after signing day, putting players at other positions than what they were recruited for, or back to back losing seasons with disastrous/no bowl game.

Sumlin has a track record of multiple 1st round NFL draft choices, being bowl eligible every year in the best football conference, the best facilities in America, playing for one of the best DCs in the business, averaging 9 wins a year, a gameday atmosphere Nick Saban envies, etc.

What are reasons to play for Charlie Strong? Five core values and seven losses every year, topping out at six wins, may be you are bowl eligible, getting shut out by isu, teammates have great twitter skills, a gameday atmosphere so bad most top recruits were told to come after the season, etc.

Those sound like great reasons to play for Strong to me.

Yeah, and nothing fishy went on that weekend...sure.

That is crazy considering how many were uncommitted at the time. I have not been following recruiting that long but their closing rate this year seems well above normal.
