There used to one of these threads every week.

Anytime we had problems before and someone complained we heard trust in Sumlin. It was always assumed he knew what he was doing and any questions otherwise were shut down.

Even in one of his last pressers he said sarcastically does it look like we are questioning ourselves or worried.

I have never been a huge supporter but I have never disliked him. From the FACTS that I know I do not see a reason to fire him at this time.

Still supporting Sumlin 100%.

Been through the RC (later years), Fran, and Sherm years and I would take Sumlin any day over those guys. If we have a 6-6 year or 7-5 year, I'll reconsider.

No the point really. He was woefully ineffective, yet Sumlin kept him in there. We had absolutely no chance of winning with KA playing, hurt or not.

2-13 vs teams finishing over .500 in conference. Blown out routinely. Could be worse though right?

SUMLIN left him in? Wait, I thought Sumlin was disconnected and let his coordinators run everything?

Yeah because it is that black and white... it couldn't, for example, be that he was still able to "throw" but the injury was adversely affecting his ability to throw enough to affect his accuracy and arm strength. Seriously, what is with you KA haters? You are all completely irrational.

If you think its bad here, don't ever go to Premium. I have been questioning Sumlin for about a year and a half, and you would think I'd murdered somebody by some of the responses over there...

Of course not any more b/c its now common knowledge that he is not the savior...

And he has made changes to fix the biggest problem from 2014 season and he is currently making a change to our biggest issue last year.

I would like to add that I think he needs to be on the hot seat for next year and if we have another collapse or go 6-6 he should be fired. If we finish with 8 wins, with strong performances in every game I could go either way and if we go 10-3 or better he stays.

KDS had to know how much reliance his system placed on QB play, yet somehow failed to continue the protection of the QB that was in place in 2012. Perhaps he assumed it was the offensive scheme that was vastly responsible for the success of our offense. It was, in fact, the dominance of our OL that allowed JFF time to look things over before he had to begin scrambling and create his magic. I will go so far as to say, that if JFF started his first season with this year's OL, most of America would not know who he is. Now, had we fielded this year's defense in 2012 and 2013, I'm fairly certain we'd have at least one, if not two national championships.

For me, I trust he will ensure the OL play is much better in 2016, and if so, we will have a very, very good season.
